Recipe: S'mores Candy Bars

I had been craving s'mores all last week. Unfortunately, we have no camping plans anytime soon, and we don't have a fireplace. So I found some s'more-like recipes online that I could use instead, but none of them seemed to quite fit the bill. They all called for things like a candy mold, a kitchen torch, a double boiler...all of which I didn't have and didn't want to buy.  I had to take matters into my own hands. The answer? These S'mores candy bars.

S'mores Candy Bars

1 lb Milk Chocolate
1 Jar Marshmallow Fluff
8-10 Graham Crackers

 1. Make 8-10 graham cracker shaped molds using foil.  I saw recipes that called for actual candy bar molds, but I had to think of something that I could shape myself so I didn't have to buy one. It worked like a charm!
2. Melt chocolate over low heat in a saucepan.

3.  Pour melted chocolate into foil molds--about 1/8" deep.

4. Spread fluff over one side of the graham crackers.

5. Place graham cracker (fluff side down) into the chocolate.  Cover the cracker with 1/8" layer of chocolate.

6.  Let stand until chocolate is firm.  I recommend refrigerating them.

7. Scrape extra chocolate from pan with graham crackers and fluff. Eat.

8. Figure out how to get fluff off camera.

Ahh yes, life will never be the same.

All I have to say is - Genius! They look delicious. I used to make those at sleepovers a lot but of course we took the lazy way out and just melted the marshmallow and chocolate in the microwave. I think for the next time I have guests over I'm going to make those... definitely.
