I have always loved putting together goody packages for my family and friends at Christmas time. You know, the fudge, chocolate pretzels, chex mix, etc. But this year, I either a.) haven't had the time or b.) haven't felt well enough to tackle the tradition due being pregnant. I figured everyone gets plenty of treats anyway, so I haven't felt too guilty for slacking. Instead, I chose only three of our closest friends to share something with. I made a big batch of cookies to go in these super easy DIY cookie tins...made out of Pringle's cans! I may be changing my tradition--this was so much easier and efficient.
Supplies:
Empty Pringle's cans for as many people you are going to spoil. (My husband will be taking the chips with him for lunch for the next month, but he won't mind.)
Glue (or transparent tape would work).
Pretty wrapping paper.
Directions:
1. Cut out the paper to fit the can.
2. Glue 'er down.
3. Admire your work.
4. Fill with cOoKiEs! I wanted to stack them all the way up in this picture, but they kept falling. :(
5. Maybe top with bows?
Perfection!
No doubt your friends will all be saying "Once you pop, you can't stop!"
Haha, sorry.
