Pinteresting Wednesday: Great Words

Just some phrases I like today...

One of my favorite verses.

Seriously.

Working on this.

Ain't that the truth.

Always.

Stop complaining (talking about myself here.)

That's me!

Pinteresting Wednesday: Happy Thanksgiving!

I am stoked about tomorrow! Aren't you? Although I won't be stuffing myself until I'm miserable, I look forward to these dishes in moderation. What foods do you look forward to each year? For me, it is a tough call between the green bean casserole, candied yams, and stuffing. Mmmmm!

Saturday Morning Coffee 11.19: Thankful Series

Can you guess who I am thankful for today? Well if you guessed the baby, you are right. Sweet, sweet Ashyr. My 8 month old as of this week! Where is time going?

This baby has brought an amazing amount of joy into our lives since March 14th. I'm so thankful for him everyday, not just this month when we talk about things we are thankful for. I love being his mommy and wouldn't trade this job for the world.

Just a few things about Ashyr that I absolutely love:

His smile. It melts my heart over and over every single day.
His chatter. I enjoy the stories he tells me all day long. I don't understand a word, but I love them nonetheless.
His excitement. He squeals and gets so excited by the smallest things: the sound of paper crinkling, his rattle, daddy walking through the door.
His cuddles. I could cuddle with this baby all day long. Nothing beats holding him close.
His big blue eyes. They are filled with such wonder and expression. Everywhere we go, someone comments on how beautiful they are. I tend to agree.
His kisses. They are wet and slobbery right now and he doesn't know that it doesn't require a face plant into my cheek yet, but I would have them no other way.

Sponsor Spotlight: Latoya @ The Scott's Crib

Have you met the amazing Latoya? If not, you're missing out big time. She is the writer over at the wonderful blog, The Scott's Crib.  I met Latoya during Small Business Month back in October and I have enjoyed following her blog ever since.  She shares diy projects (inexpensive ones too!), her business, being thrifty, mommyhood (her little girl is a doll!), and much more.  I am seriously always floored at the projects she comes up with that cost next to nothing.  Latoya also has been sharing some other neat things lately including giveaways, her Healthiest Loser Challenge (you rock, Latoya!), and Project MAHMA which are all so cool.  She has a teapot giveaway coming up at the end of the month, so be sure to stay tuned.  Hop over to The Scott's Crib and see more of Latoya!

Guest Post: Ashley @ Simply Enchanted on Holiday Makeup

I am so excited to be guest posting here at Capernaum Home. I was honored when Ashlee asked me to guest post on her blog. I think she is so sweet and beautiful and I feel inspired whenever I look at her blog or her etsy shop.

Let's get to know each other shall we???

I'll go first, my name is Ashley and I blog over at Simply Enchanted {A blog about service, self improvement and inspiration}

My passion is SERVICE and making a difference in the world which is just one reason why I sell Mary Kay. I believe a little makeup can improve the way you feel about yourself which can then inspire you to go out of your way to make someone feel special. It then becomes a chain reaction.

Well since the holidays are coming up, I thought it would be fun to share with you the some Holiday Glamour limited edition items for your Holiday parties this season and some fun make up tips!

I absolutely love this stuff!!! I put it on at 8:00am and had to wash it off before bed when I was washing my face. I am not even joking that is how long it stayed on! It stayed on through eating, drinking water...everything I did.

These luxury liners just glide on and they look so beautiful on!!!

Are these not the funnest colors EVER?! I am just in love with them and all colors work for either your eyes or cheeks so you can really play up your look!

These ALL smell so delicious and it is so fun to have a variety for the holidays and year round!

These nail lacquers are ever lasting!! They are such fun holiday colors and make perfect stocking stuffers!

Did you know that when ever you wear color whether it be eye shadows, blush, etc. you should always start from the outside and work in? This is because your brush has more color on it to start with and you want to bolder look to be on the outside framing your face!

When choosing an eye shadow you should pick one from the opposite of the color wheel to really make your eyes POP!

Go HERE to see my  my skin care routine!

I would LOVE to help you with Christmas gift ideas or to make your own holiday look complete so I am offering all you Capernaum Home readers a BIG 20% off your entire purchase discount!  www.marykay.com/AshleyFrederickson

Simply click on 'contact me' after you have placed the order and I will take off all discounts needed and will email you back your discounted total!

Pinteresting Wednesday: Winter Style

I used to hate winter, but over the past couple of years I have come to actually really like it and I think it has a lot to do with clothes.  I used to love summer clothes, but my taste has changed to chunky sweaters, tall boots, and scarves. Plus in winter it is so much easier to dress modestly which is important to me.  So anyway, here are a few winter looks that I had pinned and thought I'd share.

Which do you like more, summer or winter clothes?
