Saturday Morning Coffee 3.3

Sometimes I get in a rut that nothing is going right and everything is stressful and chaotic.  There are just days or weeks when our web business work is swamping us, I'm overly emotional being psycho pregnant lady,  or the sheer craziness of having an 11 month old gets to me. I think it is mostly in my head, because I am beyond blessed without any real problems to speak of.  For some reason, this week just felt really refreshing and we had many little blessings that served as a reminder that everything is under control and I have absolutely NOTHING to complain about.  I'm thinking about sharing our blessings on here more often so that I can look back and see that it really is all in my head.  So here you go...

Blessings from this week:

The bank we purchased our new house through called us and gave us a hefty sized check. They had made some calculation errors with our closing paperwork and gave us money back that was totally unexpected.

Grant and I finally decided on new shingles and paint for the house which has been a hard decision for us.  We have happily agreed on what we want and the work will begin next week. So excited to get this process rolling so we can move in hopefully by the end of the spring.

Ashyr is zipping around the house. I'm thankful he is walking now. I was having a hard time bending over with my baby bump and carrying him. Now he wants down to go, go, go!

We have had several days of gorgeous weather, including one in the 70s. We were able to get out of the house, drive with the windows down, and go on walks a few times which was wonderful. I easily get cabin fever when it's too cold to get out and we are home four or five days in a row.  But spring is in sight and I couldn't be happier! (Praying for those who haven't been so fortunate this week with the weather...)

We have gotten five new clients this week.  Although the work gets overwhelming, I should always be thankful for the continued business that the Lord provides for us.  The work will get done like it always does. Sure Grant and I have to pull all-nighters sometimes (more than we should probably), but it's still good to have constant business so we can pay the bills, continue to be self-employed, and work from home.

I have eaten more grilled cheese and bowls of tomato soup this week than I can count (or maybe care to admit). Yes, I count this a blessing..it's SO good! And I got sick from them with my first pregnancy which made me sad. This go around I simply can't get enough of this delicacy!

I had an appointment with my midwife and everything is looking good with our baby girl. She is growing right on track, heart beat was perfect, and I'm already 25 weeks! Third trimester is just around the corner!

Ashyr had a checkup with his pediatrician who said he is healthy as can be. He is growing and developing as he should be.  Of course Grant left there really proud of his baby boy when the doctor said, "This little guy sure has a lot of muscle mass." In Grant's ears, that's translated into "He is going to be an Division 1 athlete someday." Cracks me up.  Anyway, I'm so thankful for a healthy baby boy every single day.

I found out two of my closest friends are both expecting this week which I am beyond stoked about! I am so thrilled that we will have babies just a few months apart so they can play and grow together.

Have a marvelous weekend and be sure to stop and count your blessings--maybe eat a grilled cheese (or two) for me!

Oh, and come back Monday, because I will be posting some St. Patty's day related things over the next couple of weeks!
